I provide tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities (beginner to advanced) in the Whitchurch, Shropshire, Chester, Cheshire and Wrexham areas. Lessons are taught in my purpose built music studio with vaulted ceiling and grand piano, at my home two miles outside Whitchurch, Shropshire.
A little bit about me....I grew up in the north east of England and am half Persian. I studied for my music degree at Lancaster University and hold several diplomas both in teaching and performing. I am completely passionate about all music and music teaching, and aim to inspire my students by sharing this love of music with them all. I am continually undergoing professional development (via courses and workshops) in order to keep abreast of new teaching methods, and to keep on top of my own technique as a musician.
Many of my pupils have gone on to become successful musicians and teachers themselves: I have had students taking up places at the Royal Northern College of Music, others studying music at university (specialising in composition and flute). I also regularly prepare pupils for school entrance exam auditions, with many gaining music scholarships at the top schools in Cheshire/Shropshire.

Autumn term; September 7th for 7 weeks (see term dates page for full details)
Term is well underway and it's been wonderful to see most of you face to face again! There has been wonderful progress already and many of you are embarking on music exams this term, so keep up the fabulous work! Welcome also to all the new students who have started. It's a pleasure to be working with you all on your musical journey.
A note on safety measures: Please don't forget to use the hand sanitiser on entering and leaving. Wherever possible I ask that only one parent comes into the house to accompany younger students to try to keep you all safer.
Should lockdown reoccur, lessons will be offered remotely as last time. For any remaining lessons paid for during a half term where lockdown occurs, I will not be rolling lessons over or offering refunds for those who choose not to take them. There are plenty of options for students to carry on and it proved very successful during lockdown last time (Skype, Facetime, Zoom and WhatsApp are all available). I thank you all for your cooperation.
Welcome to my site! I hope you will find it helpful and informative. Within the site, you will find audio clips and details of exam results to provide examples of my student's work.
